Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a proven treatment for helping the body heal itself from many conditions and injuries that have no other known

treatment. It’s proven efficacy in disease and injury is unquestionably supported by medical research.

Physiologically, when Oxygen is pressurized the plasma and other fluids are saturated with Oxygen in addition to the hemoglobin. The experience of being in a pressurized chamber is much like the pressure on an airplane, except that you are breathing 100% oxygen. While in this healing atmosphere of pure oxygen, you can listen to music, audio books, or DVD’s while you breathe and relax! (It is the easiest therapy to do!) Some chambers use less than ideal pressurized air and provide Oxygen from a mask. There are portable “bag” chambers that also suffer from limits due to the pressure provided. There are also very large multi-place chambers where everyone is treated at the same pressure.

HBOT helps stroke victims recover the parts of their brain that have become dormant from the cerebral accident. The “Recoverable Brain” was a term coined by the late Richard A. Neubauer, MD, who proved the therapy’s efficacy in many Neurological conditions. He was the pioneering doctor in Hyperbaric Oxygen in the United States and he was a very good friend and worked closely with Ray Cralle for many years.
